Ladonna Madonna is a manifestation of the deep love a mother feels for her newborn child. The tulips are dancing with so much celebration they are no longer earthbound. The world outside awaits. For now they are in a cocoon of intimacy. Their home is a platform from which they will journey. Although made of stone and marble it appears almost like a boat waiting to float down the river and onto the ocean beyond, symbolizing the ocean of life we cross.
