At the Prado (Au Prado) 1868
by Edouard Manet
Medium:
Etching and aquatint
Although Manet is well-known as a French artist, he also spent time working in Spain. In this etching and aquatint, Manet depicts a scene from the Prado Gallery in Madrid; we see well-dressed ladies socialising and looking around with their little dogs.
