Interview of the founder of USEUM Foteini Valeonti for the Greek newspaper "Agora"

Foteini Valeonti, coming from the Greek island of Samos, is the woman behind USEUM, the fast growing platform for art, that already exhibits 20,000 paintings by 2,300 artists coming from 100 countries around the world.

But what is USEUM? "USEUM is the art museum of the world and of each and everyone of us too. Not only for the fact that it exhibits thousands of paintings from every corner of the world, but also because it is created by its users and subsequently it belongs to them, as it is based on crowdsourcing.

"Besides our efforts to make USEUM the ideal portfolio platform for emerging artists, enabling them to promote and profit from their work, we have also been collaborating with museums and other art institutions. Furthermore our recent partnership with Le Dame Art Gallery here in London promotes the work of emerging artists from all around the world to one of the metropoles of art. This initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by our artists"

"I would advise everyone who has a dream or a desire, to go after it... All exciting things in life happen outside our comfort zone"
