Self Portrait in a Straw Hat  1782

The painting appears, after cleaning, to be an autograph replica of a picture, the original of which was painted in Brussels in 1782 in free imitation of [url=http://useum.org/artwork/Portrait-of-Susanna-Lunden-Peter-Paul-Rubens-1622]Rubens's 'Chapeau de Paille'[/url], which Vigée Le Brun had seen in Antwerp.
