It is my most ambitious floral. In my garden, I have and old 'Annabelle' smooth hydrangea. At one point, I saw this motif that I associated to a Japanese 'motif'. I wanted to catch the luminous effect of the different greens. The colourful 'Monarch' butterfly offsets the dominant green colour.
