Deliziosa

Finalist in the Imaginative Realism category at the 2014/2015 International Salon of the Art Renewal Center, USA.

Inspired by the work « The wait near the fountain » of the famous Italian academic painter Vittorio Matteo Corcos, I created my version of it. I wanted my painting to be really different but with the same touch of elegance as the Master.
In my version I wanted every pieces to be «delicious» and elegant, such as the golden sunny light, the posture and the clothes of my model, the glass cup of Murano filled with fruits and the baroque fountain from where springs some water.
Deliziosa is my expression of the femininity and sweetness in a woman.
