About

Sofoklis Kiourtzogloy was born in June of 1985 in Athens.He is graduated from the department of Electrology School of Technological Application at the Technological Educational Institution (TEI) of Larissa. He was a member of the Photography Club of Larisa.In 2012 he attended a seminar at the Cultural Association of Students of the Athens University. This year he is attending the Photography circle of Platonos Rivelli.In 2006he first participates in the Belle Arte Lamia competition in the category of photography organized by Orfeas Kafodio. In 2009 he accomplishes an individual exhibition with the theme “Road Photo” at the Sotiriou Ziazia Cultural Centre in Larissa.The exhibition was organized by the Photography Club of Larisa. the same year he accomplishes his 2nd individual exhibition at thw Micraasia Centre at Kerameikos in Athens.The theme of the exhibition “Road Photo”.In 2010 he wins the first prize in a competition organized by the Kostantinople Union with the theme “Words and Colours of Kostantinople”.In the spring of 2011 he participatesin a competition for photography at Dodekanisos Seaways with the theme “ Dodekanisos our Place” and is awarded at Certificate of Merit.At the end of the same year.he participates in a group exhibition of photography at the Arts Centre at Klathmonos Square with the theme “A getaway from everyday life”.In April 2012 he took part in a competition with the theme “Greece Now” organized by “Ash in Art” (Art House Incoherent Affairs).In January 2013 he organized a photography exhibition in collaboration with the internet magazine “Fmag” at the Arts Centre Athens with the “Roaming in Athens”.In autumn of the same year ,he participates in a group exhibition at the Cultural Action Centre “Thieves” with the theme “A portrait through a photographic lens.
