Michele Del Campo was born in 1976 in San Nicandro Garganico, in the south Eastern Italian coast. In 2001 he took a degree in Illustration and Printmaking from the University of Dundee (UK) and in 2007 he took another degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid (Spain).
In Madrid he combined his studies with his numerous and successful exhibitions. In 2006 he won the "Premio BMW", a 35.000 Euro prize handed over by Queen Sofía of Spain, the BMW president and the Spanish Minister of Culture and Education. In 2008 he moved to London where he currently lives and works. His 2011 solo exhibition in Lima won him the "Premio Luces" to the "Best Solo Exhibition of the Year" in Peru. In UK he has won several prizes and exhibited in various galleries, including the Mall Galleries.
