Marco Zamudio was born in Mexico on 18 May 1973. He holds a degree in Visual Arts at the National School of Fine Arts, San Carlos in 1995.

Characterized by its desire to rescue realistic painting, Marco Zamudio won in 2006 the first in the painting contest Sacra: The Gospel according to Luke, organized by the Institute Manuel Toussaint, Ecumenical Centre for Conservation and Promotion of Artistic Heritage.

He has contributed to the atmosphere and museum of the exhibition 'Visions of America: Urban Realism' MOMA (Museum of Contemporary Art in New York); the 'Self Portrait in Mexico 90s' at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City.

He also participated in developing the design of the exhibition catalogs cited above.

In October 2010 Marco Zamudio THE PASSENGER mural for the Insurgentes station mass transit system Mexico City Metro.

In September 2012 the second mural OUROBOROS the platform of Tlatelolco station for public transport system Mexico City Metro will open.
