About

Guzk is a small part of my name "E guzk ine ", with which I identify when I'm drawing or creating an image, in a process of introspection and learning, trying to recognize and identify the things I like and why this fact.

Cestona was born in a small town in Guipuzcoa, being very young when my parents traveled to Venezuela, the country in which I grew up and where I met wonderful people. They made my studies Advertise mainly motivated by my interest in drawing. I started working with graphic design in a digital age, where everything is done through the computer. After a few years working in various advertising agencies, I decided to return to the Basque Country, specifically Zarautz, where I started working in a media company known graph called Otzarreta Communication, where I still work today.

I think for my restless spirit and nonconformist, I'm always in a constant search for what I like. That is why in the fall of 2009 to coincide with a series of changes at work and after experiencing various facets of the graphic arts (graphic design, Flash animation, web programming, etc ...) I felt the need to recover something was shelved due to the dynamics of work he did. I mean my drawings , doodles those who accompanied me for most of my life. That's when I decided to take them up again, re-create lines, faces and those childhood dolls, which marked a reunion with me.

I've taken courses with two excellent watercolor painting; Maite Unzurrunzaga and Juan Carlos Cardesín , whom I thank for their dedication and generosity.

In my work I try to capture feelings that sought to translate and re-express through color, contrast and imperfect and irregular lines from the spontaneous gesture. I like to play female characters, highlighting emotions through their eyes. Also, I like to incorporate into my artwork more traditional elements of graphic design, as well as backgrounds and textures.
