I've never really given much thought into why or how I became an artist; art kinda found me. For as long as I can remember, I always had a pencil in my hand and I'd scribble on any surface I could find.
Early on, a fixation with comic books came about that forever changed the way I saw the world. Emerged somewhere between fantasy, myth and exaggerated reality I subliminally began composing my personal artistic landscape. Drawing made me feel good and thats all that mattered. I was quickly encouraged to take art classes and later on go to art school, but the main purpose for creating art has always been because it felt so damn good doing it.
Art is a state of mind that makes an ordinary world come alive. It allows me to see things from a different angle and realize the importance of little things that are often overlooked. This is the world my art describes - a place where anything is possible.
