I'm a Mexican artist living in West Chicago area. What I love most to do are portraits; they are a pretext for telling stories, talk about social issues or simply to enjoy communicating through the material and color.

My paintings have been exhibited in Museums and galleries in Mexico City, United States and Canada such as Palacio de Bellas Artes, National History Museum; Circle de la Garnison in Quebec and Lutheran University of California among few examples. My solo shows have been presented at Gallery 13 (Minneapolis); Aldama Fine Art (Mexico City) and in Museums such as Guanajuato's Town Museum; Arts and Culture Center of Aguascalientes and Cuernavaca's Museum.

My work belongs to important collections including the Mexican Republic Presidency; Mexican Marines Museum; National Death Museum and the National University of Mexico.
My search in painting is to learn to see the world in another way... trying to be like a minstrel of my time.
