August Riedel

Johann Friedrich Ludwig Heinrich August Riedel (25 December 1799, Bayreuth - 6 August 1883, Rome) was a German painter. The son of architect Karl Christian Riedel, August Riedel attended the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, from 1820 on, where he proved to have an eye for color.
