Last Thursday, October the 5th, USEUM's founder Foteini Valeonti succesfully completed the viva of her PhD project USEUM: Making Art Accessible with Crowdsourcing and Gamification. During the viva, the innovation of USEUM as a platform was highlighted, as well as its contribution as a PhD project to adacemia and beyond, earning Foteini the title of the Doctor of Philosophy.
The recognition of USEUM in the academic world, gives us great strength to continue pursuing our mission of making art accessible to all. With the platform going from strength to strength, having launched the Download Artworks feature earlier in the year, which is now used daily from people from all corners of the world, we have even greater features in the making coming soon!
