   This version of the painting, with the two student boys (?) dreaming of their futures (?) alone on the plateau used to hang in the Musée des Beaux Arts in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The last twice I have visited (two years apart) I have been told that it is being restored. But surely that does not account for the length of time for its absence. I even offered to buy it - but got no response. Even though the colours are less vivid than in some of the other versions, I find it the most interesting because of the "program" of the two students......I would be glad to hear of comments of others on any of this - even if you think I am am talking nonesense!
