    To me this painting says 'Christmas'. The walnuts and sweet chestnuts were harvested in October, the orange harvest in Spain has just started (traditionally in December). The boxes contain Turron or membrillo (traditionally eaten at Christmas time). The circular boxes probably hold cheese. Wine in the jars (covered to keep vinegar flies out).
