Sea Ways
2013
Concerning maritime superstitions and traditions, particularly Gaelic Ireland and Scotland.
I have been working on this illustration for an upcoming exhibition. I wanted to focus on an 'old world' feel to the artwork, once again using a limited palette and utilising aging textures, including hints of woodcut and block print crafts. I also wanted to keep some mystery and intrigue in the image hopefully making the illustration a little more curious to the viewer.
