Karl Bryullov

Karl Pavlovich Bryullov (23 December [O.S. 12 December] 1799 – 23 Jule [O.S. 11 June] 1852), original name Charles Bruleau,[1] also transliterated Briullov and Briuloff, and referred to by his friends as "Karl the Great", was a Russian painter.
