Levon Avagyan was born in 1990 Yerevan, Armenia. His first steps in fine arts were made with the help of his grandfather - Armenian impressionist realist artist Gevorg Avagyan. Educated in Yerevan Academy of Fine Art 2007-2011 lead by Saro Galents. Studying heritage of old masters like Adolphe William Bouguereau, Paolo Veronese, Jacques-Louis David's, Caravaggio, Rembrandt and others, he found his own form of expression in fine arts inspired by surrealist and symbolist old generation artists Salvador Dali, Arnold Bocklin, William Blake as well as modern artists Hans Ruedi Giger and Odd Nerdrum. Among his latest creations were the graphic artworks called "Bad Dreams About The Future". In most of his paintings it is the future with its new situations and problems. His paintings are the more fantastic externally the more predictable internally. He shows the forthcoming phenomenons based on his own imagination which unwittingly creates a new unique technique. The general message of his paintings is activate viewer imagination, to send him into unreal but believable world. He says: "Search the core in phenomenon: the visuals are paradoxical"
