Jean-Marie Reignier, born August 3, 1815 in Lyon, where he died in 1886, was a French painter. He was a student at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon, where he was appointed professor in 18541. He was appointed Knight of the Legion of Honour in 1863. His students, among others, is Claude-Antoine Dussort Tony Tollet. His works can be found at the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon, in Grenoble Museum and the Museum of Tessé.
