Shops in the Albaicin, Granada

My previous painting of Granada was of the street and church, San Gregorio. Leading up from the Gran Via to join this street at the little square beneath the church is this colourfull street, Calle Calderería. It is lined with beautuful buildings, typical of old Granada, shops selling all kinds of arabic produce, lanterns, rugs, clothing, jewelry, arabic music, belly dancing gear and Morrocan tea rooms. This narrow street is a favourite tourist route up through the Albaicin. it is a very interesting subject to paint but difficult and challenging. I hope you like my interpretation.
