Nature morte au vase Moustier  2012

Oil on linen - 20 in. x 24 in./ 50 cm. x 60 cm.
Sometimes I start a still life with one object I like. Here it is a vase bought in France some time earlier. Little by little, I built a still life having a 'feel' of southern France that I was pleased with. The yellowish lime dominant colour was unusual for me to work with.
