This painting features a portrait of my father, Albert Clifford Walker, in British army uniform. He served in the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment during WW2 and was trained as a sniper. In spring 1945 he was sent to Norway to assist in the liberation of the country from the Nazi regime. By the time he arrived the Germans had surrendered and so he spent his time guarding German...
