This painting depicts a fountain statue representing a female water nymph located in the garden of the main building of Hornsey College of Art in Crouch End London circa 1970. Sculptor and date of statue unknown. Irreverent art students have painted a garter belt and stockings on the statue to enhance its eroticism..
