For many people the ranting, raving anti-Semite and sexual pervert Adolf Hitler was one of the most evil and destructive men who ever lived. I feel a personal antagonism towards him because as a small child I was subjected to the bombing raids of his air force. And as an artist I was disturbed by the fact Hitler too had been an aspiring artist and architect. The painting, of course, is a wish-fulfilment. I do not really believe there is a hell after death but in his case I would like it to be true.
