Savvas was born on the 9th of July in 1990 in Limassol, Cyprus. From a very early stage, Savvas has been an arts enthusiast in a broad spectrum, such as music, painting and filmmaking. Savvas can play the drums and the ukelele. At the age of 12, he formed his first band as a drummer, called ‘Tutankhamun’. Through the time they have been performed in many concerts and won numerous competitions with the most remarkable being the first place in the annual band battle ‘Lemesia’ in 2007. The band is still active since then, performing in both Cyprus and Greece. Savvas was also awarded with the second place in the music-composition contest ‘Lions’ in 2007. Recently, he formed another band named ‘Htijohn’. Last summer, they were selected upon a very competitive process to perform in one of the biggest music festivals in Greece: ‘river party Nestorio-Kastorias’. Following the footsteps of his father, he secured a place in the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is currently in the 5th year of his studies. Beyond his love in fine art and music, Savvas is also into film production. More specifically he is currently working on his own film projects, having already released four short films called ‘Boxicity’, ‘Vraxnas’, ‘Paparazzi’ and ‘Afairesis’. Afairesis has been accepted to "Novella Showcase Festival 2015". His vision is to become a skillful film producer by combining all his broad knowledge in fine arts and music.
