I am eager, willing, proficient and aiming high.
My meabality to find satisfaction in the status quo, to feel just fine about the person I am, seems to be the driving force behind my actions.
Being born and raised in Vienna, I am heavily drawing from the Wiener Werkstätte and Wiener Aktionismus, which were highly influential some 100 years ago, but still are timeless, which is a quality I am definitely aiming for. Still I’d have to say I prefer to be an artist that transforms his time but mirrors it.
I have entered competitions and designed clothes. Like the childrens fashion award “Kids in fashion”, in which I was selected, at the age of 12, one of the 10 best, in my age category.
I am trained in millinery (Fashion school Hetzendorf, Vienna) aswell as pattern making (Central Saint Martin's College, London).
I feel that a garment or any kind of object only gets its true meaning through its surrounding. Which is when I began my studies in Fashion Styling and Art Direction at Istituto Marangoni in London at the age of 17.
During my studies I always tried to combine the process of creating images with a design process, by creating and making dresses or accessories or also by creating a whole new image by either retouching and creating layouts or by painting over photographs.
