Cecilia Sánchez

Cecilia Sanchez (Talavera de la Reina, Toledo) is an artist and graphic designer. In her illustrations we can find connected the Expresionist tradition and the contemporary Figurative Art. Her works are influenced lightly by Klimt and far more by Schiele and his accurate, winding and smooth anatomies.
Cecilia's work has an emphasis in naturalness, always looking for the perfection of gestures which talk about the person who is in the illustration. she is interested in the personality of that person, as well as all his feelings.

The strenght of the looks and the power of the accurate eyes let people know about the story that is behind the illustrations. These looks are full of melancholy, uncertainty and calmness.
